Responsible for supporting the marketing strategy for Merrell Canada including our Go-To-Market (GTM) and in-life campaign support. This individual will have daily interaction with marketing and sales across the country. They will also partner with the appropriate departments in our global headquarters to ensure our regional requirements are being addressed.


  1. Responsible for implementing the social media content calendar and development of social content
  2. Identify and execute against emerging social trends, tactics and tools
  3. With the help of the Marketing Manager, schedule, plan and execute regional events, trade shows
  4. Ensure sales force has appropriate marketing collateral to aid with the sell in of seasonal stories
  5. Work with sales to identify, source and distribute promotional material to our retail partners
  6. Assist with the preparation of seasonal catalogues, price lists and photography
  7. Manage database of lifestyle and product images to support our retail partners
  8. Support our regional brand ambassadors
  9. Ensure showrooms are current and up to date
  10. Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  11. Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.



  • Fluently bilingual (French and English) in both written and verbal communication
  • 2-3 years of experience in channel marketing or related field including campaign and event execution
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, and/or related fields including research, PR, advertising, media and/or publishing
  • Graphic design experience
  • Must have deep knowledge of existing social media applications like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc and have a pulse on what’s coming next
  • Demonstrated team player with entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to learn
  • Speed, flexibility, and confidence to take on multiple projects and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong communicator with ability to work virtually with colleagues across the globe
  • Strong sense of professionalism & judgment in response to issues in the public social media space
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) is required
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite Superior verbal and written copy writing, editing and communication skills
  • Some experience in budget management and tracking
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent experience
